This policy applies to flybilly.com and all its subdomains and pages, including app.flybilly.com.

FlyBilly helps local service businesses understand how they show up across AI recommendation platforms. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We've written it in plain language because we believe you should actually be able to read your privacy policy.

1. What We Collect

1.1 Information you give us directly

  • Phone number. This is how you log in — your phone number is your identity on FlyBilly. We use it to send you a verification code when you sign in, and to text you when your report is ready.
  • Your business website URL. You enter your company's website so we can analyze your AI presence. We read publicly available content from that URL to identify your company name, locations, services, value propositions, and common customer questions.
  • Business details you confirm or edit. During onboarding, we show you what we found on your website and let you adjust it — your services list, value propositions, customer questions, and competitors. We store whatever you confirm.
  • Your selected location. Since our analysis is location-based, we ask you to pick which business location you want us to evaluate.

1.2 Information we generate

  • AI presence analysis. We query AI platforms (like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Bing Copilot) to see how your business appears in their responses. The results — scores, citations, mentions, sentiment — are stored in your account.
  • Competitor data. We search for businesses similar to yours in your area so we can benchmark your AI visibility against local competitors.

1.3 Information collected automatically

  • Basic usage data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) generated when you use the app. We do not currently use any third-party analytics or tracking tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use what we collect to:

  • Verify your identity via SMS when you sign in
  • Analyze your business's public web presence
  • Generate your AI visibility report and competitive benchmarks
  • Send you your results and updates via text message
  • Improve the accuracy and usefulness of our product

We do not use your information to:

  • Sell your data to third parties
  • Send you marketing texts you didn't ask for
  • Build advertising profiles about you or your customers

3. Who We Share It With

We use a small number of third-party services to operate FlyBilly:

  • SMS provider — delivers verification codes and notifications. Accesses your phone number.
  • Cloud hosting provider — runs the application and stores your data securely.
  • Database provider — stores your account and business information with encrypted connections.
  • Location search provider — helps us find competitor businesses near you. Accesses your location and industry.
  • AI platforms — queried to measure your business's visibility. Accesses your business name, location, and services.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data with these providers only as needed to deliver the service.

4. How We Protect Your Data

Your data is stored in a secure, encrypted database with access limited to the FlyBilly team. We use SMS-based verification to protect your account — there are no passwords to steal.

5. How Long We Keep It

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and your reports are relevant. If you want us to delete your account and all associated data, just let us know (see Section 10 below) and we'll take care of it within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the data we have about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your account and data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Opt out of any future marketing communications

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in Section 10. We'll respond within 30 days.

6.1 For California Residents (CCPA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

7. Children's Privacy

FlyBilly is a business tool. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we'll delete it promptly.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll let you know by text message or by posting a notice on the app. We won't quietly reduce your rights.
